The Heat is on. Just not on the court in Miami.

The 78-75 loss to Indiana last night squared their playoff series at 1-1. But it was the way the team lost that may have the faithful worried.

Missed free throws. Limited bench play. No third option with Chris Bosh injured. A loss at home. LeBron James playing 43 minutes.

In two games the Heat are 1-for-22 on 3-pointers.

James had 28 points, nine rebounds, six steals and five assists in the loss. Dwyane Wade had 24 points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocks.

But James missed three free throws at the end and Wade missed a layup. And without Bosh they didn't get more than five points from any other player.

"Chris was missed," Wade said. "That's not the reason we lost the ballgame....We have to do a better job of seeing how we can those guys more involved."

James was also looking ahead not back.

"Those last two didn't go for me," James said of his final two free throws. "The game was not lost or win with those two free throws but I definitely want to come through for my teammates. I'll get an opportunity again."

Of his many minutes he said "it's taxing. But If I'm on the floor, I've got play at a high level."

The Heat don't seem to have pushed the panic button. But should they?
