ALEX FERGUSON plans to put his team in isolation ahead of Monday night’s Premier League title crunch at Manchester City.
United have asked about hotels in South Wales for Friday and Saturday night — as Ferguson looks to protect his squad from the hype surrounding the biggest Manchester derby clash in history.
The club have already banned their players from giving interviews ahead of the game.
Ferguson took his squad to St Andrews golf course before their last Monday clash at the start of the month, which they won 2-0 at Blackburn to go clear at the top of the table.
Cardiff is a possibility, provided they can find proper training facilities.
United have made enquiries about hotels in the Vale of Glamorgan for Friday and Saturday night — before scheduling a return to Manchester on the eve of the derby.
