ALEX FERGUSON is ready to recall Ji-Sung Park at the expense of Danny Welbeck to stop Manchester City.
The Manchester United boss is considering a five-man midfield tonight to contain City with just 33-goal top scorer Wayne Rooney up front.
Park has not taken part in the last seven games but Fergie wants his destructive powers against the likes of David Silva and Samir Nasri.
Ferguson has praised the Rooney-Welbeck partnership but City are in free scoring form with 12 goals in the last three games and Ferguson wants to stop the supply to Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero.
Centre-back Jonny Evans is battling to be fit. If he fails Chris Smalling will be called in for his first start in 10 games.
Rafael may be dropped with Phil Jones set to play at right-back, or Smalling if Evans makes it.
United players were shaken yesterday after a wild return flight from Cardiff where they had a two-night break.
Their 30-seater plane was heavily buffeted on take-off and early on. Rio Ferdinand tweeted afterwards: “Landed safely in Manchester from Cardiff... bumpy old flight that.”
