ROY HODGSON was all smiles as he arrived at Wembley for talks over the England manager's job today.

The West Brom boss, 64, looked overjoyed has he was driven straight into the national stadium past the waiting media.
Hodgson was last night named as the only candidate the FA had approached to replace Fabio Capello in the Three Lions hotseat.
He was a surprise choice ahead of Tottenham chief Harry Redknapp, who was the bookies' favourite for the role.
The former Liverpool and Fulham gaffer turned up at Wembley at 2.35pm in a silver saloon car ahead of his 3pm meeting.
Hodgson, who has managed Switzerland, UAE and Finland at international level, was then interviewed by England football chiefs.
His wealth of experience across Europe, including work with UEFA, will no doubt have appealed to the FA.

And if he is confirmed as the new England boss, Hodgson will be thrown in at the deep end as he leads the nation into Euro 2012.
His first match will be a friendly against Norway in Oslo on May 26 before facing Belgium at Wembley on June 2.
The European Championship begins on June 8 and Hodgson faces a tricky group with Ukraine, France and Sweden as England's opponents in Poland and Ukraine.
