The goalshy Reds had no scoring issues at Carrow Road as Suarez put the visitors into an early lead with a fine left-footed finish from the edge of the box.
He soon doubled his side's advantage with a fierce drive from the right and ensured he would take his first Premier League match ball home with a sensational chip from just inside the Norwich half.
His late strike put the gloss on a welcome win for Kenny Dalglish's side who stay eighth but now look in good shape ahead of next weekend's FA Cup final with Chelsea.

Andy Carroll was missing from Liverpool’s squad through injury and it was a quiet start at Carrow Road.
Norwich had slightly the better of the opening exchanges but the visitors, and in particular Suarez, soon kicked the game into life.
Steven Gerrard won possession from David Fox in the Norwich half, steered the ball through to Suarez on the edge of the box and the Uruguayan superbly fired past Ruddy with his left foot.
Gerrard was denied a goal of his own when he raced on to Suarez’s square pass but his drive at goal ricocheted wide off Ryan Bennett.

But a second did come four minutes later through a brilliant Suarez solo effort.
Norwich again dawdled on the ball in their own half and the Reds No.7 nicked it away from Elliott Ward, broke into the box and fired low and hard across Ruddy and inside the far post.
Liverpool pressed in search of a third after the break with Jonjo Shelvey heading against the crossbar after a Suarez effort was blocked.
Shelvey then slid in to try and get on the end of Jose Enrique’s cross but only succeeded in slicing the ball straight up in the air with the goal gaping.

Steve Morison dragged a shot wide for the hosts and a cleaner strike from Elliott Bennett was also off target.
But it was all the Reds with Ruddy making a good diving save from Stewart Downing’s powerful low right-footed shot.
Suarez missed a chance for his third when he delightfully nutmegged Bennett but his audacious scoop sailed high over the bar and he went close again when his header was cleared off the line by Jonny Howson.
Norwich did exert a bit of late pressure with a Russell Martin cross picking out James Vaughan who was unable to direct his header on target.

Vaughan’s backheel then sent Martin clear to cross and substitute Grant Holt’s knockdown caused problems for Reina.
But the Reds keeper was able to clear and the ball found its way to Suarez who then produced his moment of genius.
The Liverpool striker advanced into the Norwich half and, despite having acres of space to run into and Shelvey clear to his left, he took one look before flighting an outrageous shot from 55 yards over the desperately back-tracking Ruddy.
It was a remarkable goal to cap a sublime individual display as the Merseysiders moved to within two points of seventh-placed neighbours Everton.
