FOOTBALL idol Mario Balotelli is unlikely to scoop any end-of-season awards at Man City.

But the Italian star can at least take comfort from being nominated for a Kerrang! Award.
He’s the only non-musician to feature in the Hero Of The Year category, which also includes Jared Leto.
If Mario turns up at the ceremony on June 7, he won’t have trouble fitting in with any of the bands – like You Me At Six, who are up for five awards.
Most of them have probably set off fireworks in bathrooms.
