Everton's late strike helped Suwon Bluewings move back to the top of the K-League after they came from a goal down to beat Ulsan Hyundai 2-1.
The Bluewings had won all seven of their previous matches at the Suwon World Cup Stadium this season but they fell behind to Lee Jae-Sung's tenth-minute strike.
Eddy Bosnar levelled proceedings eight minutes later but it was not until the 89th minute when Everton scored to ensure the hosts moved back to the summit in place of FC Seoul, who beat Gwangju on Saturday.
Jeonbuk Motors moved into fourth, five points behind the league leaders, following a comprehensive 3-0 win at Sangju Sangmu Phoenix.
Eninho opened the scoring in the sixth minute, Kim Jung-Woo scored a second in the 43rd minute before adding a penalty three minutes from time.
Strugglers Gyeongnam went three points clear of bottom side Daejeon Citizen following a 2-0 win over Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma thanks to second-half goals from Rocha Caique and Jo Jae-Cheol.
In the day's other game, goals from Derek Asamoah and Ko Mu-Yeul ensured Pohang Steelersclaimed a 2-1 victory at Gangwon FC, for whom Jung Sung-Min scored a consolation.
