BROKEN DREAM ... John Ruddy will miss the Euros after breaking a finger training with England

NORWICH keeper John Ruddy is OUT of England's Euro 2012 squad after breaking a finger in training.

Ruddy, 25, was one of two uncapped players among the original 23 called up by new Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson for the tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
He will be replaced by Birmingham stopper Jack Butland, who spent 2011-12 on loan at League Two Cheltenham.
England’s No1 is Manchester City's Joe Hart, with experienced West Ham keeper Rob Green the second choice.
Green suffered similar heartache himself in 2006 when also with Norwich.
Having been selected for England's 2006 World Cup squad, he ruptured his groin taking a goal kick in an England B game and was ruled out of the tournament.
Butland's inclusion is a kick in the teeth for former West Brom No 1 Scott Carson who moved to Bursaspor in Turkey at the start of the season.
It could also affect Stuart Pearce's plans for the Great Britain Olympic football team.
Butland, 19, was expected to be Pearce's first choice between the sticks having represented England at several age groups up to Under-21.
