Team GB face Uruguay in Olympics football

GREAT BRITAIN'S men will face Uruguay in the group stages of the Olympics football tournament at London 2012.
Today's draw at Wembley also handed Team GB clashes against Senegal and UAE as they were placed in group A.
The task of taking on Uruguay for Stuart Pearce's side could be a difficult one with the South Americans the reigning Copa America champions.
They could field a team including Liverpool's Luis Suarez, Inter Milan's Diego Forlan and Napoli's Edinson Cavani, should they be selected as the three over-age players for the Under-23s tournament.
Uruguay's squad will be made up mostly of the team that won the South American U-20 Championships in 2011, when they were runners-up to Brazil.
Team GB coach Pearce said: "I wouldn't dismiss anyone in the group, with the addition of three over-age players it can really contribute to a strong side.
"It will be tough, it always is, that's tournament football.
"We'll be looking forward to it and I'm sure our boys who are representing Great Britain will be looking forward to a tough tournament but an enjoyable one."
The top two from each group will progress to the knockout stages.
In the women's tournament, Great Britain's biggest task will be against Brazil.
The Samba Queens earned silver at the 2004 and 2008 Games and will be hoping to go one better at London 2012.
They boast five-time FIFA World Player of the Year Marta among the star names available for the Olympics.

Group C: Brazil, Egypt, Belarus, New Zealand.
Group D: Spain, Japan, Honduras, Morocco.

Group F: Japan, Canada, Sweden, South Africa.
