RIO FERDINAND will think about going to Euro 2012 — if new England boss Roy Hodgson wants him.
Hodgson plans to talk to the Manchester United defender and find out if he and Chelsea skipper John Terry can play together.
Terry is due in court after the championships to face a charge of racially abusing Rio’s brother Anton.
That has led to fears the two England stars will have problems sharing the same dressing room.
But despite the fact Rio wanted Harry Redknapp to be the Three Lions’ new manager, he has great respect for Hodgson.
Rio does not want to call time on his England career but all sides recognise the situation with Terry means squad selection is not straightforward.
Meanwhile, West Brom fans plan to turn the Hawthorns into Wembley for Hodgson’s farewell against Arsenal on May 13.
The Baggies faithful will wear England shirts and Hodgson masks.
A spokesman said: “Lots of people have England shirts so bring them along to support Roy.”
Albion fans at Bolton on Sunday will dress as CLOWNS to taunt the relegation-threatened Trotters.
