PAGE 3 babes Rosie and Danni made a lovely job of building The Sun’s Le Mans racing car.
The perfect pair were called in by the Strakka Racing team to help put the finishing touches to their 220mph HPD-Honda car, which will fly Sun colours in the legendary 24-hour race this weekend.
They gave drivers Nick Leventis, Jonny Kane and Danny Watts a hand to fit the car’s sleek bodywork, driver’s seat, steering wheel and fat racing tyres.
And Watts declared: “They made a beautiful job of it, naturally.”
Leventis added: “I think the car’s bodywork is gorgeous but it has got nothing on the Sun girls.”
Silverstone-based Strakka are gunning for an outright win in France, though they will need a lot of luck on their side as they are up against an awesome squadron of six works cars from automotive giants Audi and Toyota.
The team boasts the only all-British driver line-up from the 56 crews entered and proudly flies the Union flag on the tailfin of the car.
They will be cheered on by 70,000 Brit fans making their annual pilgrimage to Le Mans.
Rosie, who tried out the HPD’s cockpit for size, said: “The car looks amazing and it was great fun helping the guys to build it.
“I’m really hoping they can win for Britain and The Sun.”
