Opening ceremonies in London will stretch the wallet (USA TODAY)

A price tag of $42 million may seem extravagant for a Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony.
But with that price tag you get Academy Award winning director Danny Boyle, James Bond and the help of Queen Elizabeth.
Vanity Fair's Hollywood Blog has breakdown on the ceremony that is expected to include Daniel Craigshooting a short film at Buckingham Palace.
The Boyle-directed production that will resemble a "rolling Britsih countryside:
Number of stadiums: 1
Horses: 12
Sheep: 70
Cows: 3
Goats: 2
Chickens: 10
Volunteers: 10,000
Props: 12,956
Costumes: 23,000
Rehearsals (so far): 150
