Spurs 'n Arsenal lose race

WILFRIED ZAHA is on the verge of joining Manchester United for £12million.
Alex Ferguson’s side look to have beaten off Arsenal and Spurs in the race to sign the Crystal Palace whizkid.
United have held talks with the Eagles over a deal which is believed to be worth an initial £8m, plus add-ons, and the promise of loan players to help the Championship side’s promotion bid.
Ivory Coast-born Zaha made his international debut as a substitute in England’s 4-2 friendly defeat to Sweden last November.
Both the Gunners and Tottenham had been keen on the 20-year-old winger.
But United boss Fergie has been tracking Zaha for some time and looks to have finally got his man.
It is understood Palace manager Ian Holloway, who has a close relationship with Ferguson, believes United’s deal to be the best on offer.
And it could finally be rubber-stamped in the next few days.
