HARRY REDKNAPP hailed his side’s shock win at Chelsea as one of the greatest of his career.

Redknapp’s rock-bottom QPR got the new year off to a flier as Shaun Wright-Phillips’ superb 20-yarder sank the European champions.
Redknapp said: “This is one of my greatest-ever victories. It will send shockwaves through the other teams at the bottom.
“Even those teams on 20 points would have been sitting at home, seen this result and gone: ‘That ain’t very good for us.’ I know because I have been in that position myself.
“The atmosphere in the dressing room afterwards was fantastic. We’ve got to make the most of it and build on this now.”
Rangers, who are now five points off safety, looked a completely different team to the one trounced 3-0 at home by Liverpool on Sunday.
Redknapp said: “Liverpool was difficult. The way we set up, the players weren’t sure how we wanted them to play.
“The message didn’t quite get through and I thought we were all over the place.
“I spent a couple of hours yesterday just doing loads of work with them. So everybody knew exactly where they were and when to press.
“I thought we did that well. We defended well and hit them on the break.”
This win meant Redknapp ended the day on a high note after losing out on Joe Cole earlier. Redknapp tried to sign the Liverpool midfielder on loan but the former England player has gone to West Ham instead on a permanent deal.
Redknapp said: “He would have been my first signing. He probably thought ‘I love you Harry, but you’re not going to stay up.’
“So he went to the Hammers. I loved Joe and he would have been good for me.
“But Joe grew up at West Ham and I understand why he’s going back there.”
Chelsea missed the chance to go third after boss Rafael Benitez started with Juan Mata, Eden Hazard and Ashley Cole on the bench.
Benitez said: “I have no regrets. We cannot keep playing with the same players every game.
“And if you’re playing the team at the bottom of the table at home you have to trust your players.
“I trust them and thought it would be fine.”
