Bitter Balo shoved by Mancini
Last Updated: 24th September 2012
ROBERTO MANCINI shoved Mario Balotelli down the tunnel after another bust-up between the pair.
Balotelli had come on as an 85th-minute substitute in the 1-1 home draw with Arsenal.
But he made a comment to Manchester City boss Mancini as he left the pitch which clearly annoyed the Italian.
Mancini pushed him down the tunnel but refused to explain why afterwards.
He said: “I don’t remember this. I don’t know if he asked me something.”
Asked if Balotelli had been unhappy at being brought on with only five minutes left, he added: “Probably, I don’t know. I’ll ask him tomorrow.”
It is the latest in a list of confrontations between the manager and striker.
Mancini had said his “patience was endless” when it came to Balotelli.
Yesterday, City led through Joleon Lescott’s 40th-minute header but Laurent Koscielny levelled on 82 minutes.
Mancini said: “In four games we’ve conceded three from set-pieces. I’m frustrated and the players are too.”
