British triple-jumper Phillips Idowu is expected to be fit for London 2012, according to British Olympic Association chef de mission Andy Hunt.
The participation of the 2008 silver medallist had been called into doubt last week when he failed to attend a pre-Games training camp in Portugal.
The BOA reacted by requesting medical records for a nerve problem in the 33-year-old's hip and back.
"Phillips is making good progress and we expect him to compete," said Hunt.
