Cristiano Ronaldo could continue to make history at Real Madrid, if his 161 goals in 155 games haven't convinced you yet. This Saturday, against Celta, he could catch two bona fide Madrid legends in the all-time goalscoring charts: José Martínez 'Pirri' y Emilio Butragueño.
Butragueño was a striker, but at the Real Madrid of his era, goalscoring was Hugo Sánchez's job. Despite this, the current Madrid director was the league's top goalscorer once with a tally that seems insignificant now, next to those of Cristian and Messi: 19 goals during the 1990-91 season.
The Portuguese was unable to extend his run in Portugal's two World Cup qualifiers (defeat to Russia and a draw against Northern Ireland). He'll try to get his goalscoring back on track against Celta, a team that he's never played against as a Real Madrid player.
