ROGER JOHNSON may be rescued from his Wolves nightmare by joining Sheffield Wednesday.
The Owls want to sign the defender, 29, on loan after his £5million move from Birmingham to Molineux turned sour.

He was caretaker with Kevin Poole after Paul Peschisolido was axed in March.

BILLIONAIRE Canadian Lawrence Tanenbaum is leading the race to become the new owner of Nottingham Forest.
Tanenbaum — chairman of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment — is understood to be in negotiations with investment bankers Seymour Pierce over the Championship club.
Negotiations between the 67-year-old tycoon and Seymour Pierce are believed to be making progress since Forest staved off relegation under manager Steve Cotterill last month.
