ROY HODGSON is considering taking FIVE strikers to Euro 2016 in a bid to name both Marcus Rashford and Daniel Sturridge in his squad.
Hodgson had been expected to cut his attacking unit down to four when he announced his provisional group ahead of the European Championship two weeks ago.
But 18-year-old Rashford has made such a dramatic impression in his first week with the seniors, the England boss is looking at how he can fit him into his plans for this summer.

There have been fitness doubts over Daniel Sturridge who missed out onFriday’s 2-1 victory over Australia having reported a sore calf.
And when Manchester United ace Rashford celebrated his debut by scoring the opening goal after just 138 seconds it cast further doubt as to whether Sturridge would be cast aside when the squad is finalised on Tuesday.
But Hodgson is a major fan of the Liverpool star and is desperate to give him the chance to prove his fitness because he believes he can be a key player in France.
And he is now looking at whether he can sacrifice another midfielder to make sure Rashford and Sturridge are in his 23 along with Wayne Rooney, Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy.

Fabian Delph has already been cut down to stand-by having suffered a groin injury in the England training camp, so Hodgson needs to decide on the two other players who will be axed.
Newcastle winger Andros Townsend looks set to miss out having only made a late substitute’s appearance against Australia while Jack Wilshere and Jordan Henderson’s return to fitness could lead to disappointment for Danny Drinkwater.

Hodgson is looking at using captain Rooney in a deeper role, which would allow him to cut the three midfielders from his original 26-man group.
Everton midfielder Ross Barkley is another who has some concerns having played just 25 minutes of the two warm-up matches, but Hodgson is known to be a big fan of his abilities.
So the England boss is left to decide cutting two from Rashford, Sturridge, Drinkwater and Townsend — and he is leaning towards putting his faith in the two strikers.
