Seattle Reign and Rosengard are sitting pretty at the top of the league table in USA and Sweden respectively, thanks to the goalscoring form of their star attackers. FIFA.comlooks at the latest news from both those countries, plus updates from England, and also Norway where another goalscorer secured all the glory.
USA: Little stands tall as Seattle continue to reign 
The composition of the NWSL playoffs is almost complete with two full rounds still remaining. Chicago Red Stars and FC Kansas City are into the playoffs following the weekend results, while Washington Spirit can only miss out by virtue of head-to-head results, and they require just a single point from their final three outings. In-form leaders Seattle Reign are just a win away from securing their second successive NWSL Shield for topping the regular season ladder after their impressive 3-0 win at Houston Dash. Last year’s top goalscorer - Scotland international Kim Little - netted all three goals including a stunning individual effort, with the result ending the Dash’s hopes.
Chicago Red Stars hold down second despite a scoreless draw at Western New York Flash, with the point enough for the club to claim their maiden playoff berth. Kansas leapt to third with a 3-0 win over Boston Breakers where Amy Rodriguez scored a brace and registered an assist. There was a costly penalty miss for Portland Thorns’ Alex Morgan as Sky Blue FC goalkeeper Brittany Cameron made an eleventh hour block from the USA star to give the home side all three points, much to the delight of a record sell-out crowd for the New Jersey club.

England: Blues on the move 
Chelsea extended their lead at the top in England with a 2-0 win at London rivals Arsenal. It was a crucial three points for the Blues with none of the other team’s in the top half of the ladder claiming victory. Second-placed Sunderland were held 1-1 at Birmingham City, while it was a similar story for Manchester City on their visit to Notts County. City seemed set for all three points thanks to a double from England skipper Steph Houghton, only for Rachel Williams to secure a 2-2 draw with a 90th-minute equaliser. 2013 champions Liverpool gained some ground with a 2-0 win over Bristol Academy as Natasha Dowie scored twice.

Sweden: Marta at the double 
Leaders Rosengard recovered from their stumble a week earlier to narrowly see off the challenge of the visiting Mallbackens, but it took all the wiles of Marta to do so as the Brazilian superstar scored twice late on. But for Marta's late winner Eskilstuna would have joined the champions at the summit, after the second-placed side secured a hard-fought 2-0 win over Kristianstads. Linkopings were the only side among the leading pack to falter as they fell to a 2-0 defeat against Orebro. Pitea are now just a point behind Linkopings thanks to their 3-0 victory at Vittsjo.

Norway: Mykjaland stars for leaders Lene Mykjaland grabbed all the headlines in Norway on the weekend as the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup™ midfielder hit four goals in a 5-1 win for leaders LSK Kvinner as struggling Medkila paid a visit. Second-placed Avaldsnes rediscovered their form with a 4-1 win at Kolbotn, but still sit seven points shy of the Lillestrom-based side.
